Some Info:
Ockelbo HT16 with too much HP, small boat with some special qualities to say the least. The boat is not a beauty-project in the slightest, just a rig för the engines. Previous owner but a friend when testet at 55 knots, Anton is the driver of all shots. I was a fun summer with a lot of boat rides!

What happened to the first motor? Overheated? Or something worse? Usually those engines are bulletproof

Never gone 65, so not sure what you mean? But GPS measured 55 at leats with old engine 😁

Snyggt bygge! :) Tror du det är möjligt att montera en 225-250hk motor på om man vill komma upp i hastigheter på typ 65+ knop?

Ja det går säkert, bara det är förstärkt nog. Sen kanske man ska fråga sig om 65+ i en Ockelbo 16 är den bästa idén 😂👍

Om jag minns rätt så var vi nära inpå 60 knop, men propellern är för aggressiv och motorn varvar inte tillräckligt ur :)

I don't think so, I think they were sold mainly in Sweden and neighboring countries to my knowledge 😁 Look up Fjordling HT17 for an other cool retro HT :)

@@simonlanden4635 I will look that up. Are they a common boat? I would love to get one here in the states. I have a 1992 Mercury 2.5 175hp. It has the 5 blade ski prop on it. I would love to get a 3 blade speed prop for it.
