I'm Arthur Bhutic! I've been here when I lived of Greenville in Traveler's Rest in the 1980s! Then I moved to Houston where I live now! The Stumphouse Tunnel must restart construction 🚧 and run 🏃 above the current one for the railroad tracks to run 🏃 above ground level! Best is Amtrak Trains 🚆 run 🏃 the tunnel! In the towns, the roads be reconstructed to be concrete, curbs, and sewers with light poles just like 👍 in Houston where I live! The parking lots be replaced with concrete just too like 👍 in Houston!

Great video, but disappointed that West Union, Salem, Fair Play, and Longcreek are not mentioned.

Jocassee is technically Salem/Tamassee.

Funny How the narrator mentions Bed & Breakfast's which pay no accommodations taxes to Oconee County. Yet she fails to mention the many vacation rental properties like ours who pay hefty accommodations taxes to fund these commercials and other Oconee County Tourism advertising where they barley mention our vacation rental accommodations. PONDEROUS !!

Did you notice that this video was made over 11 years ago? Maybe the tax base set up and vacation rental issue did not exist, or was well publicized that many years ago?

Showing all the highlights but not all the full truth. Meth is easily accessible, some people in my high school started on it even. Litter scattered all over the place and I haven't seen a Newry folk fest since I lived there, this 2010 video must have been the last time they did it. Time drive in is alright but not fine dining. They have awesome grilled cheese and fries though. Don't get me wrong, there are some cool things and the nature is beautiful but it's a little different in town. I've noticed that older people like to retire here.
