Greeley, Colo. (December 20, 2022) - Orthopaedic & Spine Center of the Rockies (OCR) breaks ground on its new medical clinic building in Greeley, Colorado. The new 46,934-square-foot state-of-the-art facility will allow OCR to provide expanded clinical, physical, and occupational therapy care for an expanding regional patient volume in northern Colorado. The building will be located on a 12.15-acre site at the northeast corner of 20th street and 59th avenue in the Fox Run development. Saunders Heath has been selected as the General Contractor, Infusion Architects has been commissioned as the Architect of Record, and UCHealth as their joint venture real estate partner. Construction is set to commence in January 2023, with an anticipated opening in May 2024.
OCR recently celebrated the sixth anniversary of its Greeley, Colorado-based medical campus. OCR opened the Greeley office in May 2016, to help serve the growing number of residents in Greeley and communities in eastern Colorado. Onsite services at OCR's Greeley medical campus include same-day specialty physician appointments, digital X-ray, DME (Durable Medical Equipment), ultrasound, and cast-splint-brace services.
OCR's trauma program provides 24/7/365 orthopaedic trauma coverage at UCHealth Greeley Hospital (Level III with a Free Standing ED). The trauma team has undergone concentrated training to provide the community with high-level specialized orthopaedic care. OCR's trauma program includes a separate full-time hand/microvascular call schedule and a separate podiatry call schedule. They are further supported by a team of 12 OCR-employed trauma PAs.

The floorplan is designed to closely mirror OCR Loveland's campus on Highway 34, which has proven to support efficient workflow as well as provide a rich aesthetic. The initial Greeley campus will include clinic, physical and OT therapy, and imaging services followed by future construction of an ambulatory surgery and recovery center."
