... *raises an arm as if to send my energy in memory for TotalBiscuit* I may not have followed him, but even an in-the-woods bumbkin like me knows of the work he busted his ass to accomplish...and for that, he has my respect

I know about TB, but can you explain to me how this song is associated with him? I don't see any conneciton. Have always loved this song.

This is the song currently playing following The Co-Optional Podcast's TotalBiscuit Memorial Stream. Thank-you John for everything you did for those you touched during your life, you left the world a better place than when you entered it and for that many of us will be forever grateful. As hard as it will be not to have your perspective to lean on, we know you'll always be flying high above us all.

John Bain was a man who changed KZbin and the gaming industry forever. He was got many big channels started in the early days. It was his strong ethics and take names and kick ass attitude that led him to fight for the consumer. To call out those big companies and fight for the little guys. The entire world may not know what you did, but we know. A man named Monty Oum once said "The goal is not to live forever, its to create something that will". That is what you did. Your legacy is in all the people that you ever helped, encouraged, defended or inspired. They will always remember, for their lives were changed forever because of you. People exist because of you. If a history is ever written about youtube in its early days or the change in the video industry and those who helped shape it, you will have a your own chapter. Rest in Peace John, may there be no frame rate limit in heave.

I didn't know TB but I had this remix in my MP3s for a long time. Only when I started using KZbin to listen to my things in my car did I see all these comments about the composer... I never knew you but thank you for this beautiful song that always made me travel

Hearing this during the memorial podcast was and still is hugely emotional, never hearing it before then but it is so fitting. Rest in peace Mr. Biscuit, you will be so missed.

I usually highly dislike OST's that have been remixed with a vocal part. This one is the only exception I really like.

Goodbye Totalbiscuit. I agreed with you on a lot of things and disagreed on some, but nobody can deny the gaming community is better off because of you.
@Devilzem6 жыл бұрын
He would always want you to form your own opinion. Disagreement was something he encouraged. Man, it's a different industry... one he has touched and made better by so much. I'm sure he helped a lot of people by being brutally honest and himself too; nobody is perfect, he had flaws and he laid them bare and talked openly about them. It's hard to say, but goodbye Totalbiscuit indeed.

I love this song so much, it blends the melodies of the original source and breathes new life unto them. The instrumentation, the lyrics, the interpretation! It's all so good!

I *love* how the video was just one long ad with the actual focus of the video as the background music

I remeber this being one of the last songs I heard on my laptop before my UPS battery and laptop battery running out of energy during Hurricane Rita. Still a powerful song to me for that reason alone... and it doesn't help that I still love playing SoM.

Could’ve used a better arrangement but the production is swell, if not a tad too soft!
