WowMyNameIsUnique i saw your comment about it taking about a min or so to get to the point. please keep in mind this is a "club" trance remix so i did it in that format. With all due respect i made the intro that way because i had a hard time getting this to pass the judges panel (i had to resub this twice a lot of hard work went into this.) Not to mention the source is VERY limited so i had to make do with what i have. This went through many revisions to get it where it is at now. Also you said " We don't need a minute and 3 seconds of suspense just to hear a fraction of the theme of the song you're remixing, and then for you to lead off to another minute of suspense.. Meh." I dont mind taking heed to feedback but ..we? shouldnt that be "I"? you cant really speak for everyone here some people like the long intro and some people dont. to give you some insight on this track it took me 3yrs to make this 3 long years i struggled very hard to get the sound that i needed for this track. So in a sense i took offence to what you said earlier when i quoted you. BUT at the same time i see where you are coming from so i see it from both sides. Thank you for your feedback.

Yeah, I definitely understand that my comment was too harsh and irrational at parts. Your remix just wasn't for me, and I'm pretty sure I've commented several times on the video explaining that, but it's mainly my fault for simply not deleting the comment. Personally, I'm more into the more fast-paced remixes, or at least ones that don't have as much buildup for the main theme. Anything more than 30 seconds I just can't handle. Anyways, sorry to offend, and I hope you make more remixes in the future (hopefully that don't involve harsh criticism from me aha).

I like suspense, I really do, like in Towering Revolution (Boomer Kuwanger remix), and Intruder alert (Magna Centipede), but by the time the song finally started I just fastforwarded to see if it was even worth it to wait another two minutes until the song ended. Maybe this song just isn't for me haha.

what i don't like in these maverick rising remixes is the theme is totally obliterated and replaced with drums, synth, and improvisation.

Not really. The theme is still there, but depending on the genre of music the artist is going for, intruments need to change.

Agreed. I often think "Oh yeah, this is great. They really captured the feel of the original in a new way." But by the end, I'm clicking away because it's lost in a wash of guitar solos or generic dance beats. If they want to make their own original music, they should just make their own music.

An actual fact though is that there are 4 dislikes, so even if it was possible to change the we to an I, I'd rather be honest instead of wrong. Plus, this is a comments section. It's just criticism.
