On this the Feast of the Guardian Angels Fr. Ignatius preaches on the nature of these heavenly helpers. This homily was exactly what I needed to hear today. I have been trying to gain a better understanding of Guardian Angels and their role in our lives. It's as if the Holy Spirit directed me to this video. And though this video is 12 years old, it's perfectly relevant for today. And I thank you humbly for it. May Our Father have Mercy on us all, in these perilous times.

Thank you father for this profitable video on our Guardian Angels, which our loving God has given us to guide us through this perigrination on earth, at present dealing with this horrible pandemia. Worst thing,all churches are closed, and we cannot receive Holy Communion.Have felt the presence of my Guardian Angel on occasions, at my side and makes me feel loved and protected. great as always Fr Ignatius - thank you. i am glad you cleared up the thing about naming your guardian angel. i have heard from priests i respect that it is ok to do that but i think they were just misinformed. it always felt weird to me anyway and i never did it - and now i can continue to NOT do it with confidence, backed up by a vatican document. :--) 1:59 - this gave me a chuckle. There's no "blank" to insert a name. heheh. God bless.
