Could be a lot of things that you can point towards. MCW buff + egregious challs = more deaths where previously maybe he could get away with it but not anymore. I can also see a world where Optic definitely got complacent after winning Major 3 where they thought they could just run and gun people off the map. Seems especially in SnD he's trying too hard to prove himself and catch timings that he's become undisciplined. People have also suggested an internal dispute of sorts so he could just be mega checked out... He showed flashes like that Highrise control, but yes I'm curious to see how Optic goes forward after this year

Wouldnt be suprised if pred gets dropped for hydra nowadays - I dont see Shottzzy being dropped since hes the franchise player after the king stepped down - I dont see dashy being dropped because he’s played his role extremely well for obj in Respawns and i mean if he didnt get the 3v1 against faze they most likely win major 3 - then we have kenny i dont see him being dropped because he does exactly what is needed of him his comms his mentality his leadership ect Now by no means am i a pro cod player ect but this is what it seems from the outside looking in

Is nobody else concerned, confused, and quite frankly just not able to accept this was the same team that won major 3? I’m not a sold fan to any CDL team just want to make this known- I just really enjoy watching it: Shottzy & Dashy have been some of my favourites to watch for years now since Shottzy played H5. People like clayster attach etc just mainly top players putting on a show is why I like to watch the comp. But yo can we really sit here and not think this has been so fake from them? Would these players seriously let these lower teams walk all over them if they played at their best? Are we speed running our way to champs, everything just seems so suss they are playing like they were paid to lose or some crap this is not why I watch these players at all😂 Oh suddenly NYSL come alive yesterday right the team that won two majors and champs last year? Who looked NOTHING even remotely close to how they did last season until now. All the top 4 won a major except yet for NYSL…it’s their last event as NYSL or at least season??? Oh to suss it up even more: since Cold War here are the champs winners: CW= Faze Vanguard = Thieves MW2 = NYSL Now I hate to be that crazy theory guy but if we following a pattern here: MW3 champs = Optic win is my gut feeling. And my next gut feeling is: Ultra = wins Black Ops 6 champs. Then Faze again in whatever the new title year after…😂 I’ve tried to refrain from these weird theories but at this point with how the teams go from top to bottom and the way CDL is structured time and time again. A lot things don’t seem real.

This may be a controversial point of view but looking closely at when Pred died in the Optic 4 Heretics 3 round when Pred challenges Vikul in coop I think there was a breakdown in communication by Shotzzy. The sequence of events is this (and this only takes 9 seconds of game time - 11.40 to 11.49 in the video): Real kills Dashy on plat - this causes Kenny to begin wrapping back from A. From this point onwards Kenny is pretty much out of the play and we can ignore him Immediately after this Shotzzy having moved from mid kills Metalz and Shotzzy wraps back to mid. At the same time Pred beams Real on plat At this point I don't believe any of the Optic players knows Lucky is top three. It's only when Lucky kills Shotzzy from top three (as Shotzzy wraps back to mid) that Lucky's position is known. At the same time Shotzzy is killed, Pred challenges Vikul through the arch and puts a couple of bullets into him. Pred then throws a stun which I don't think hits Vikul as Vikul retreats. I assume at this point Vikul would have called out that Pred was under bridge and Lucky adjusts his position on top three (after killing Shotzzy) to move towards bridge side. Pred challenges Vikul and gets caught between Lucky on top three and Vikul. Pred dies to Lucky from top three. So should Pred have challenged Vikul? He's put two bullets into Vikul so if Pred backs his own gun skill then it seems the right thing to do (definitely if the stun had hit Vikul). But with Kenny miles away and Shotzzy having died to Lucky on top three then that was a poor decision on Pred's part (assuming Shotzzy communicated where Lucky was). Concerning the comms three things could have happened here: 1. Shotzzy didn't tell Pred and Kenny where Lucky was (I highly doubt this happened) 2. Pred heard Shotzzy say where Lucky was and ignored it (which makes what happens afterward all Pred's fault) 3. Pred did not hear Shotzzy call out where Lucky was. When Shotzzy died Pred was in the middle of putting two shots into Vikul and may have been calling out where Vikul was at that time so may not have heard any call out from Shotzzy and by the time Pred understood where Lucky was he was already committed to challenging Vikul. I think this is the most likely thing. (Take into account Shotzzy dying and Pred rounding the corner of the arch to challenge Vikul took only 3 seconds of game time). Without the team comms it's impossible to know what Shotzzy said to Kenny and Pred after he died to Lucky. But I can understand why Pred challenged Vikul. Pred wanted to make an impact and was challenging a player he had already injured. Had Pred killed Vikul that was probably Optic's round and a 5v3 lead. But in hindsight, with Lucky on top three and Kenny out of the play (and only 40 seconds left on the game clock and knowing Heretics have to plant the bomb), it was a really bad decision by Pred, especially if he understood Lucky was top three. I want to make it clear this is just my opinion as a very poor COD ranked play player. I am not a professional, never have been, never will be. And this is in no way defending Pred for some really poor overall play on this SnD map. However, in this particular case, I think there are mitigating circumstances as to why Pred challenged Vikul.
