Not scared, selfishly. Prone needs to get off his belly and help his team. At this point, this isn't a mistake. Pred's playstyle has been exposed since he started teaming with better guys. So far, the only stretch of team play we've seen was Saturday and Sunday at Major 3. Other than that, what Prone is showing is WHT he's been doing the majority of the year.

He never played scared and that’s what caused them the elimination with Miami all his deaths were him getting caught sprinting on snd. Optics biggest problem is they don’t know how to change game speed. They fly through full max speed on hill modes is why they win those but when it comes down to snd they still full speed as if it’s a respawn. Snd is never about how fast it’s really strategic so the entire circuit knows optics kpm and take advantage of that by holding A and B cuts or station themselves on choke point areas It’s why optic losses. They can dominate these matches if they control their in game speed. Nowadays players wanna be like shottzy and playing like shottzy.

I saw an interesting take on Faze. I don't think they will, but should they ever make some kind of adjustment, I think moving Simp to flex and Drazah to main AR could be it. But, if they were to drop someone, I think if the comms really are the issue, it'd have to be Cellium. In that case, Faze can pick up pretty much anyone they want. If Faze wanted to go after Shotzzy, they could. Simp on the flex to me seems like a better spot for him in the modern era

if you actually think about all the possible outcomes with this optic team in the offseason, its insane. Shotzzy could decide to just leave. They could drop Dashy if Shotzzy decides to move on from him. Kenny seems to be on his last nerve with Pred as a teammate in game, so Kenny could ask optic to let him leave if they don't drop Pred. Due to contracts it doesnt seem likely optic can get any of Scrap/Hydra/Simp/Abezy/Cellium. So even if optic moves on from Pred and Kenny or Dashy then who do they get in place of them? theres no other upgrades out there. Envoy could be a possibility...we know Kenny loves envoy so maybe they drop pred and somehow try to bring in envoy to replace him. but envoy is still under contract unless ultra dont pick up his +1. Imagine Faze comes in 3rd or 4th at champs and decide to move on from Drazah or Cell. Does optic/faze trade Kenny for Drazah, or Dashy for Cell? there sooo many possibilities its crazy man

I think OpTic should just bite the bullet and stick together. Win or Lose at Champs, they should stay together. Look at FaZe. They keep their core 3 together even after all their 2nd place finishes. One of the main differences for OpTic is that in the initial part of the season they had a lot of game 5s and round 11s which they clutched on. The comeback against Rokkr was a good example of that. They had a lot of ice in games they could've also lost. This last online split as well as the one game at M4, they've been losing those. That and their SnD falling off (its not like they have been dominant in it at all this year though). I think if they can get that first win at Champs and grow their confidence they can definitely do well again. It will just be whether they have the mental for it and whether they still have trust in each other. Sounds 🧀 i know

Before stage 4 Pred staying on the roster wouldn't even be a question but because of 1 bad stage the "fans" want him off the team ASAP and it's BS. Lets be honest he wasn't a key part of Optic winning Major III. Bruce soaking hill whilst dropping 30 bombs, Shotzzy turning up and Ken's comms and leadership were key. The team has the potential to improve by changing Pred for another player but changing the other 3 will mean their dynamic needs to be rewired completely.

OpTic lose that series because of Kenny so they drop down to losers bracket and face Heretics in elimination round 3 where Pred carries his team to victory with a 1.5 KD +30 and most damage in the lobby but winning that series only meant continuing on in the tourney so Pred did nothing to help them in their major 3 run right?

Honestly would not be that unlikely for shotzzy to leave after this year if they fall short at champs. I think it will be hard for optic to make any moves in the off season for any of the players they want since optic continues to show why they arent a prime destination when it comes to winning. If im shotzzy i just try to make my way into new york or toronto and maybe even Faze.
