I've been doing custom fab for 35 years ...this console is very good IMO...a channel called jat4011 is a guy who is next level...I think he quit doing car audio a year ago but he still has videos up. He has quite a few console builds and his last few are fantastic

This looks so good! I'm looking to replace the jump seat in my F-150 with a console like this as there's plenty of space to make a large console (the shifter is on the steering column). Thanks for making this video!

It would have been more helpful if you would have shown how to wrap console with the leather, and other materials instead of just still photos. You did build a fine console.

Thank you so much for all the info you shared already through this video. Your craftsmanship and precision with the cutting and detailing is really outstanding. If it's not to much too ask, do you have a video about the technique of the application of the leather to the mdf? Your finishing is really impressive and so well done, all the other custom console makers on YT have really poor finishing on their consoles. Thank you again for this video!

beautiful work. you guys are inspiring me to build my own. at the end driving clip it seems like a drink in the cup holder would be in the way of your arm position while shifting. anything youve learned from this build that you can share ?

i rarely comment but things need to be said. first, i will say this is the absolute best, if not the top 3 center custom console builds I've seen built by hand by anyone. HOWEVER, HOLY BALLS are you people deaf or just don't give two shits, I'm shocked i even have to explain what I'm talking about.... yall sure know how to make a center console but dam all of you sure as hell don't know your way around a computer. In the first scene, i had to max out every volume setting I had, 2nd scene came right after I stepped away from the computer and about made everyone in the entire house as deaf as you guys. this Very large, alternating, Difference in volume occures every damn time the scene changes and especially when yall talk. None of you noticed this post edit? basically falls on whoever added the damn music. he had the easiest way of fixing it. yes viewers wouls have to max out there volumes at least they'd be aware of it when it ended. option2 whoever added each clip needed to amplify the audio. Im frustrated AF because i wanted to hear everything yall said cause this, again, was the cleanest OEM looking build ive seen. so i had to endure this retardation of a youtube video. and a different topic, pretty ignorant as well, every cool aspect of the build, such as: TEXTURE, HOW The **** did you achieve such perfect factory-like texture, no one I've seen has ever even close to a texture so factory finish. , MDF Cuts by hand or CNC? The carbon fiber Film? Real carbon fiber? what? missing a TON of How to info u could have added, don't even give me the " Trade secret bullshit, tho only people watching without a doubt have no threat to your customer base i can assure. we are all DIY Shop/ garage enthusiasts so what with the secrets. And if half of this is covered in the products list mentioned the end then im a cunt and apologize. looking back i almost regret half of what i said but i spent time typing it and its here to stay. LEt this be a fricken lesson

@@barryinn1778 they are distributor only they will not sell to the public. I'm not trying to be rude but I'm being honest when I answer the question correctly. A lot of manufacturers will not sell to the public only to distributors and people with tax ID numbers that have been in business for a long time. Honestly there's a tremendous amount of products out there that work just as good the number one I would recommend is Xtreme. The problem right now is there is a tremendous amount of shortages on this type of material. Almost everyone I know of is out of stock

Couple questions How long did it take to build the console? And what did you charge?
@octanetvchannel3 жыл бұрын
We had about 30 to 40 hours in everything. We honestly did not charge him near enough but if we had to build another one it would at least be 1500 to 2,000

id liked to see the full build not just the edited quick version, can learn anything important from a video lacking step by step, boring as it may seem, a 5-10 part exremely detailed version would be much better. just my 2 cents
