Don't be nervous dude! It's super easy. You just need to match the wires to each other. Just check your work 3 times before you hook it up to make sure you have everything right! The more you do the more confident you get in doing stuff like this! I was a nervous wreck when I first did mine. And remeber you can always cut wire shorter but you can't make wire grow back so don't cut them too short!

I got a boss radio with CarPlay for my camaro with the pac interface, I have the 2ss package with the Boston acoustics system already but it sounds lackluster and staticky sometimes on Bluetooth and CarPlay. Any suggestions? Do I need a speaker upgrade?

what's up with the door chime? Is that default or can you change it?

That door chime is the sound that Pac programmed into the chime box that comes with the radio. The only way to change it is to buy a seperate tool and reprogam it yourself. I just took mine out bc i hate it lol. Only downside is, the chime box is also what produces the sound for your turn signal. So now i have to actually check to make sure mine is on 😂

I noticed a little connector on the right side of the rear control panel, do you know what that is for? I’ve installed my kit but the A/C controls do not have any function. Nor do they light up. Not sure if a wire is shorter or if it’s user error.

The harness that has the AV rca: you said it was for the reverse camera. The car doesnt have a reverse camera, so what did you mean? Does the kenwood not have a rca plug in already on it if you wanted to put in a reverse camera?

if you do not have a rear view camera factory on the vehicle you can add a aftermarket rear view camera and plug it into the rear view camera in on the yellow port on the back of the radio

This video is halfass, it shows all the stuff wired to the new harness but doesn’t show where any of the connections go. It cuts from the scene where everything is being wired up to the radio being installed in the dash without showing the connections.

I have a important question or help I know this video is like 3 yrs ago but I took my daughter’s 2015 Camaro to a stereo shop they installed everything than the instrument cluster when out took it to the dealer and they cannot figure what’s wrong with it the only thing they told me was I shouldn’t put a aftermarket stereo on so I don’t know what to do I bought another instrument cluster and nothing still the same anyone that had this problem please let me know thank you 🙏🏻
