Love the energy and enthusiasm for this! Good luck getting more interested musicians to make the jump into the new digital audio recording paradigm!

The band called Ghost would be an incredible one for you guys to work with. They play metal that has the soul of classic rock. It’s musically interesting and valuable stuff!

It would be nice to record a wider diversity of languages and musics. Thank you.

Just this week Mike at Ingroove was bemoaning the lack of audiophile records outside Jazz and Classical, where the mfrs are having a hay day with sales

I would love to hear the band “Flying Colors” properly recorded. They are amazing musicians with even more amazing compositions shoved through a sausage maker to suck all of the life from it. They win the loudness war.

The first rage against the machine record was pretty well recorded. Try Stockholm from OSI as well

What is the best way for a band to contact you?

Standard way to find such answers on KZbin: go the the channel's main page, on the 'About' tab and check the section: 'Details > For business inquiries > View e-mail address'.

We need to get PS Audio at the AES (Audio Engineer's Society) convention in New York this October. I can say it a million times but once a top respected engineer or producer catches on to what you guys are up to that do attend and walk the floors I really believe its going to be game over
@Wizardofgosz11 күн бұрын
Paul would get laughed at if he went to AES talking about how rock records and Adele's records are recorded poorly. He's a clown.
@Eric_DiRisio11 күн бұрын
@@WizardofgoszWell I will stand by Paul and attest Adele’s recent records are not the best recorded or mixed with a revealing enough system to show it. He’s not wrong one bit. Many great audio engineers I think would be more than shocked and excited to learn about what they’re up to given the opportunity
@Wizardofgosz10 күн бұрын
@@Eric_DiRisio The idea that Paul can do better than Abbey Road studios is laughable. Seriously. I am a 25 year audio engineer and Paul's claims and his studio do not "shock and excite" me. And how is your system more "revealing" than mine? That's just audiophile narcissism. Your system isn't better than mine and you don't hear better than me. In fact we both hear like shit because we're humans. Paul is a clown who knows nothing about recording and uses big words to impress people like you..

Dump DSD and go full analogue FFS
@edfort5704 Жыл бұрын
DSD is the future. Analog is awesome as well sure, but DSD is the way to share high quality sound most conveniently with everyone out there who wants it.
@artyfhartie2269 Жыл бұрын
@@edfort5704 DSD is not the future. It is just manipulation of sound signals using computer algorhyms which I find cold, clinical,,devoid of any naturalness. But if you like bits and bytes of data which have been turned into sound, go for it.
@edfort5704 Жыл бұрын
@@artyfhartie2269 DSD is the opposite of cold, clinical, unnatural sound. Haven't you heard any of Paul's statements on this over the years now? I know it's hard or next to impossible to take an objective disinterested view on it if you have any sort of 'dog in the audio race', but your statements tells me you either haven't heard any good DSD content or you're in denial.
