Octavia and Thomas (Maze Runner): FIRE ON FIRE

Thomas sees Octavia running in the woods and goes after her. He finds out she is alone and scared, and he takes her into his settlement. When people begin to turn to Octavia as her ranks grow among their people, Thomas tries to encourage her to take the position and lead although she is reluctant. he pressures her. They end up disagreeing about her methods for getting food. Octavia fears leaving the protection of their home. She turns to cannibalism as an only option. Thomas tries to leave and Octavia tries to stop him.
Some time later, Thomas sees Octavia has finally emerged and she is no longer a leader. Her people hate her and she is alone again. Hopeless, she goes on one last mission to face her fears and dies.
