It's insane! It's like a time capsule. Almost a museum piece you'd expect to find at the wolfsberg Vw museum or something. Very special. I also noticed the Barndoor Samba. Lovely collection of Vw history 😍 👌

Yea lots of weird weather this year. Colder here every day This was the coldest OCTO I was ever at. but it warmed up soon as the sun came out. But not like where you are.

They did sell a few and I mean a few outside of VW factory. I have no idea how this one got to the US....He didnt either. a farmer had it and if he didnt buy it they were going to scrap it. He found out after looking at it very carefully it was what it is. the bends and welds were too perfect. The corners were perfectly shaped. No welds cut out on the frame from the crossovers.

The single cab @16:27 Dove Blue, is so beautiful. I heard the owner talk about it with another guy. It was one of those that stood out for me, although there were so many awesome buses!

My fave was at 5:00 and 27:25. Looks like it just came down the ramp off the ship at the docs in Bayonne. Always loved the stark, simple, clean, dove blue VW Kombi.

as ugly as the parts mover was it is actually one of the rarest vws in the show. they were coach built for vw factory and the sold some to farmers. IDK how they got one here in the US...weird.

The parts mover is mine, it was used to take stuff on and off a boat and that’s how it made it to the states.

Next time he has it talk to the kid....He knows Look underneath at the frame. Welds were never cut. it was a frame stock that they used to make it. All the bends are Perfectly done. Not homemade from what I could tell. Factory frame then parts put on it. There are only a few left in the world.
