Thank you Pastor Brian for praying with me and for me. I've been struggling with alcoholism for most of my life. Every single problem I've ever had stems from it. I made a promise to get into AA meetings again and I'll stay sober this week and keep praying. Please keep me in your prayers, it's a struggle. I just wanna be the man that God wants me to be and finally be closer and have a relationship with him. God bless you all and God keep all who read my words safe and sheltered from the enemy who's always breathing down our necks. I give it all to you Lord Jesus Christ, amen.

Brother…I am nearing age 81, and 40 years ago I quit drinking. Believe me, by the Grace of Jesus Christ, you, too, can do it! Brett is an old dear friend of mine. Press in to The Word of God, listen to Brett and other solid teachers and you can and will do it! God be with you…I will pray for you! 🙏😎👑✝️🇺🇸🙏

You need to get involved with other church activities and maybe join a men's Bible Study Group to stay busy learning and sharing God's word. And become involved in serving at church in some capacity. Being around the family is better because you can find someone to be accountable to. AA is good for some people, but it was only a place to meet other drug addicts for me, back in the 90s when I was badly addicted to cocaine. Non-Christian recovery is not going to be much help for most Christians.

I attend a wonderful church in Texas. However, I was longing to go deeper in the word in a teacher setting. During my prayer time I asked God for this and I kid you not your video pop up the next day. I have never heard of you or your church. I truly believe God did this!😊 I started listening mid year and also going through your Old Testament videos. I have shared your channel with my family! God Bless!!

Every church I ever went to disappointed me to the fullest extent lol I’m 61 and God taught me a lesson that we are the church and all the offerings go to the people as Jesus did and Peter did in acts 4

Time stamp 45:29, Your worship team. The story of the man who was educated. It's a very complex matter. On the one hand, you don't want to put a narcissist in a position of authority because it is an unhealthy place for them to be. On the other hand, Talented people need good exposure to skilled craftsmen who can bring them into knowledge of their craft. This brings me to my question. I have been following the 'The Thriving Chistian Artist' on KZbin, presented by Matt Tommey Mentoring. I would love to have your perspective on Matt. I don't want the thrill of emotional expression to cloud my judgement on Scripture. Since Matt is also a Pastor, I would deeply value your assessment.

If you have 1300 volunteers, how many people do you have attending regularly?

I go to church here and all 3 services without question are packed to the gills. Last week when I finally was able to get out of the parking lot and travel 1 mile to the freeway on ramp, the traffic on the off ramp side lined up to exit (majority church goers) was far down the freeway lane. I'd love to know the answer to your question. It is by far the most emotionally healthy church I've ever attended and am willing to make the 50 mi round trip weekly voyage. If you're near you should check it out - it's a wonderful place where you feel the Holy Spirit~

@@tintrach thank you for the warm invitation, and you can bet IF I ever get even remotely close to Portland, Oregon I would love to stop in. I googled it, and it says 60,000 people attending regularly, but that it is a multiple location church family. If that's accurate, then my question is why aren't more people serving? I just heard pastor Brett say something like he was sorry for the people who are sitting way back in a different zip code 🤣, I'm sure he was using hyperbole at the time, but I got the idea that it was big; which when I googled it there was a picture of the main sanctuary, and it did look very big. I hope that you at least attend a life group, so that you can get to know some of the people.

I think last time they said it there were around 7-8k people in attendance on Sundays between the 5 services and many more watching online from around the world. They encourage "watch parties" for smaller groups to gather, share a meal, watch and discuss. There are also plenty of opportunities for people to gather mid week for community and Bible study. I'm so grateful for this church at this time 💛

@@FrankPCarpi I'm not sure about 60k peeps, but I am sure there is only one location and not multiple campuses. Where are you planted Frank?
