Beautiful collection. I love that plowmanii. If they stayed just like that i would definitely get one. I've been avoiding crawlers. But I'm gonna snag that tip for anthuriums. I only got 2 but I love them and wouldn't mind a few others. I top dress my alocasias with spagnum, I don’t know why I never thought to try it with a few of my other plants.

Thank you! Crawlers are definitely trickier to find pots for but they're so pretty. I was always scared of top dressing with sphagnum because I thought it would invite mold, but it's been so nice! I'll have to try top dressing my frydek, it's been struggling!

You need to get Flavul stratum!!! It’s like magic! Plants love it! Hoyas love it, seeds, etc etc. if it wasn’t so expensive I would just use it as soil!! But that stuff is amazing you need to try it out!!

If you find this plant it is amazing, an aechmea Perez, black leaves red flowers. I had to search all over for plant care. It is gorgeous.

McCalley's Finale. What a memorable name...not 🤣 I have similar looking philodendron and that thing is constantly bone dry and sometimes neglected. Yet, it made it and even started putting out nice leafs(at first was putting out crappie leaves.) Now I get it why is in the mall garden with angloanema and dracena. It doesn't need frequent watering or high humidity. I wasn't doing okay with plants until 1)I started to put a lot of bark in the mix 2)started to copy the plants they have in offices and malls. Before that I was sticking to cacti and succulents. That thing(philodendron)with the red leaves is one tough plant. You should keep it 🙂

Ooo that's a great idea getting the plants they have in malls and stuff, you know they're gunna be tough! I've been giving my red leaf philo more attention since bringing it inside and it's giving me more love right back. I dig it!!
