@@polishedgarden I would definitely say the Gertrude Jekyll has to be one of my absolute favourites. We also have an extremely old dark velvet red rose in our garden that was well established 18 years ago when we moved in. I don’t know what rose it is but the smell is absolutely heavenly 🌹🌹🌹

You have a fungi on your coneflowers wipe your pruners with alcohol and remove the leaves to control it to much moisture coneflowers like dry hot heat and don’t like their leaves wet. You could also spray it with a fungicide but definitely remove those sick leaves. Hope this helps!

@ that’s probably the easiest just think of them like a dry prairie flower that loves heat probably same for hydrangeas.

Your garden just keeps looking so beautiful Laurie as the seasons change. The Lady of Shalott rose reigns gorgeous, and I love how the pink cashmere and bubblegum suberbenas are still going strong 🩷Just to name a few!

It’s so relaxing and peaceful. I can’t believe the bubble gum still in bloom! I got 3 DA roses this year! So excited for them. Silas Marner, Harlow Carr and Dannahue. Can’t wait to see what you get
