I love your thought process on decor. " I just moved things around until I like the way it looks..." Same. I can't decorate w others because I kind of just do it in the moment, there might be a general idea but I sort of get into the flow and just vibe taking things away, editing, layering until it feels right. I love that you said your heart skips a beat when you enter your room. I repainted my bedroom recently and it makes me super happy, I actually twirled around one day and I'm almost 52 years old☺️!!!! Lol!! As for shopping, I always do that!!!! I'm glad I'm not alone in deciding against what I have iny cart.. after spending an hour picking out said items.... I think I'm going to splurge on some Brooklinens... I need to fluff my nest up a bit... Your bedroom looks so inviting!

Sarah I have been watching your channel from very early days and subscribed from shortly after. I have ALWAYS loved watching your cleaning and organizing, shopping for groceries, thrift and anything else. You are so lovely and relaxing to watch and listen to. Oh, Sarah, the bedroom is stunning. It is simple and yet makes such a statement. I love the simplicity, something I am striving toward. I love the dresser in total; however, the two gold pumpkins under the cloche caught my eye. What else caught my eye was the beautiful cabinet. And did I see correctly, you have your necklaces displayed on a shelf. How clever and practical. Here in northern Florida we are getting Fall in the mornings as well, and then into the high 80’s during the day! Loving the cool mornings and the evenings are getting a little cooler as well. Thanks for your continued inspiration and encouragement.

We have the Brooklinen sheets and 2 of their duvets. The linen really does get softer and cozier the more they get washed. I prefer the linen duvet cover over the sheets, but do love them still. I have a set of their classic parcale sheets and duvet and we favor those because they are SO cool and comfortable, if you tend to be hot at night. Definitely super quality and worth every penny!

Hint, when polishing furniture, alternate polishes to reduce buildup. I use Pledge and Favor. One removes the other. I discovered this years ago by accident. My sister did the same thing. I don’t polish anymore. I know you can still buy Pledge, but I don’t know about Favor.
