Bridge of Clay takes a minute to get used to but is TOTALLY worth it once you settle into the style! I feel like this book is genius but I need to immediately read it again to follow it now that I know the twists.

This is such an excellent haul. Literally everything is on my TBR! The Clockmaker's Daughter just has such a beautiful cover that it's been intriguing me since my store got its stock, so I'm keen to see what you think of it!

Zery Sarwar you can start anywhere really but I think you should start with warbreaker if you want to get into his work and not commit too much....but if you want to commit then you can start with mistborn....although I haven't read warbreaker I know mistborn is really nice and I definitely recommend it!!..

I am so glad you mentioned audiobooks! They are amazing and underutilized in the bookish community, at least with people I have spoken to. I notice that some have this misconception that it isn't a true way to read, but honestly it is such a great way to get into a story when you don't have time to sit and read (and to get your GoodReads goal done quicker if you aim high like my 75 books this year). I often listen while I am at work (I am a graphic designer that works at a desk all day most days and I am usually all alone) which is perfect. I go through my TBR pile carefully and separate books I don't mind listening to, like shorter stories, books I've already read previously, and autobiographies as well as self-help books because they are most likely read enthusiastically by the author so it makes them even better. I keep stories I love to imagine the characters for to read the traditional way (mostly YA fantasy books I never listen to) and I use my Kindle for comic books so when I purchase them I can keep them in their dust sleeves and not carry them around. I have had an Audible subscription for some time now and I love it! I also use the app Overdrive in tandem to get audiobooks from local libraries in between credits, or audiobooks I might not want to necessarily own but check out.

After typing this comment I'm going to start reading Vicious. My collector's editions of Vicious and Vengeful came in the mail a couple of days ago and I've been wanting to start reading Vicious ever since. All the hype and videos about the series (duologie?) are getting me so HYPED. So I'm really excited. I hope that I'm going to love it as much as everyone else.

At Victoria Schwab’s tour stop she said that when she wrote Vicious she intended it to be a trilogy but since it was her first adult book in her contract she wrote Vicious as it is now in case it had to be standalone, but still left room for the potential of a series. Vengeful takes place 5 years after Vicious ends and shows the affects of EOs in the future :)

@@moiraohara I feel like I need to reread The Distant Hours, even though I haven't read her last three books. I think I was a little disappointed by it, even though it was still amazing, because I read The House At Riverton and loved it, then read The Forgotten Garden and it blew me away even more. So then I had even higher expectations of The Distant Hours, but didn't like it as much the The Forgotten Garden. Yeah, The Forgotten Garden is my favorite book of hers.
