So great to see you with your friend, the whole video was so much fun. Mint chocolate chip is by far the best ice cream flavour, which makes it extra frustrating that it's almost impossible to get in Norway. If I do find it, it's only in very expensive places. I need to figure out how to make my own (I got an ice cream maker for my birthday). I am sensitive to peanuts, which is fine, I have never enjoyed the flavour. My son loves it, though. That Andrea Stewart book is absolutely gorgeous once you remove the dust cover.

I bet it wouldn't be that hard to make homemade mint chip if you have an ice cream maker! I really wish I had one.

Mint chip ice cream is my husband's favorite (other than vanilla). If you're just talking Ben & Jerry's, mine is Phish Food. That said, there is no such thing as bad ice cream, kind of like pizza.

that was adorable! you both were adorable! also it was nice to see Miriam, since I'm friends with her on Goodreads! hi! :) those books were so pretty, but I'm always like: but if I just plop really beautiful books on my book table (this is where I'm at for now), I can't see them anyway, so what's the point? plus, I think continental Europe is not so much into the special editions and book boxes things and I'm fine with that. we mostly just love paperbacks.

I think special editions are cat nip for people who collect books like magpies, which is me. They are directly exploiting my weakness. I'm fine with it. Your way is probably healthier!

There are a surprising amount of people who don't like mint. I have a weird thing with pure peppermint, so I kind of get it, but I think the flavor I like is spearmint, or some other thing they do that isn't pure peppermint.
