Hey Kathleen, skin care nerd here, lol...I was intrigued by the Dior serum so I went to search for the ingredients of it and I have to say, I feel like the plumping feeling you're getting probably has a lot to do with the fact that the ingredients include ALOT of silicon in it, thus giving a placebo plumping effect...it doesn't really have much in it that would actually hydrate the skin so tbh, the price tag is waaaaayyy too high for what you're getting...it's Dior after all, so of course they have to be pricey, lol...if you want that plumping effect, and considering the fact that you have dry skin too, any hydrating serum with a good amount of humectants like Hyaluronic Acid, Glycerin etc, would be great for you! Aaaannnnddd good hydrated skin is always likely to defy the aging process too!

This is what I think. I am a lil bit sceptical when it comes to high end or luxurious brand because they add too much fragrance and silicon into their products with less or none of active ingredients. If you are looking for hydrating serum for dry skin, try Isntree Hyaluronic Ampoule or Skinfood Propolis Essence. They are amazing with reasonable price point!
