I didn't see any fish that looked like keepers. Make sure to wet that rag, or else your just removing the protective slime from all those fish. I did give this a thumbs up. You are a great dad. Memories your son will never forget

I like how you're so patient with your kid. It's good that you teach your kid how to fish, kids these days only know how to fish on roblox or video games. You got my subscription and like, keep up the great content!

Also you should try tog jigs. I use S&S bucktails tog jigs and all I catch is monster tog, I use 1 oz jigs sometimes 3/4 oz. You’ll be surprised at the quality fish you catch with the single jigs, sometimes I even tie a teaser hook 5 inches above the jig with half a green crab as well

What rod you using?Also,what seems to be the favorite rod and reel combo when striper fishing on the jetties there.?
@SimplyOutdoorZ7 ай бұрын
On the jetties we mostly use 6’5” or 7’ medium heavy rods. Personally I use the 7’ Triumph with a 5000 penn slammer reel. When tog fishing I prefer using my longer rods to help me drop down over the rocks. Most of all it’s whatever you have confidence in! 🎣💪🏽

Great job taking the kid out fishing, BUT, dude, take of the gloves and put down the towels and man up. Little fish slime isn't going to hurt you.

That is not a keeper blackfish lol.. 15 inches!
@SimplyOutdoorZ Жыл бұрын
Yes 15 inches and 1 per person. All keepers were measured but that’s a great idea. We will show measurements of our keepers. Thanks for the idea and thanks for watching 😁🎣

It's 16" here in NY but we can keep 4, but you'd be lucky if you get one.
