love the way your backscenes tie in with the foreground.

Glad you finally got the point motor controller going, even though it was then a pain with the Z-21 app. Looking forward to seeing the new project - lot of work with the new baby and this layout, too! Iain

Was watching a video of yours and you said you have only done KZbin since March and I would like to ask how you have got so many subscribers, in a short time ! That’s amazing .

Thank you - yea, its a lovely coach. Will need a dustdown with some weathering.

I completely agree with you that the Bachmann and Hornby coaches blend quite well. I’m glad I managed to get a whole load of Hornby Mk2Es on clearance for around £12 and I’m not paying 4x as much for the Bachmann ones! I’ll just convert one of my Mk2E FOs into a Mk2F RFB. Layout is looking great and looking forward to seeing the new exhibition layout.

Thank you ! I didn't mind paying it for the one off coach, and if in the future they released a bake in Virgin , I would be tempted to get the all singing all dancing DCC version withtail lights, but I am happy with the rake now :-)

Nice update Marcus....every reason why I refused to go DCC apart from my age!!!! Very best of luck with the new layout. I am still contemplating whether or not to take my layout back out. As a certain age appears on the horizon it makes transport hire impossible with the ban on van hire to those who reach 70. It has been out and appeared in the press so at least it has history. Cheers, Bob

@@GowertonParkway Do you have a link for the person that's making them? I saw Talbot at GETS and was really impressed.

I had an impact on the Bachmann coach you bought. I've done some consulting for them and pointed out that Executive Dark Grey which they've used on previous InterCity stock was too pale for the new Mk2f's they were bringing out in the new _INTERCITY_ italic branded coaches, because they used 'Falcon Grey', which uses a darker and browner shade around the window band. I was nervous about whether they'd take my advice (you can give them the info, but you can't make them use it!), but I'm pleased to find that they did hear me! Great to see your Deltic on Loftus Road, and nice to hear about your new Nuclear flask layout... I look forward to seeing its progression!

Lovely update, I do like the opening shot of the yard and sidings. The class 55 sounds terrific, can you advise what decoder you used? I to use accessory decoders but not as sophisticated as yours and have had issues with them. I use the new Z21 app and agree it takes a bit of practice to layout the map correctly!! Cheers Jerry

Great update. I know all about the pain of setting up points in dcc lol, the set up on the controller looks awkward. Look forward to seeing the new layout grow. How do you find time to do two layouts, Im struggling with just one lol Cheers Paul

Don't want to break any hearts mate but I have seen nuclear flask transfer facilities modeled before BUT not as a stand alone layout. Be good to see you at the GCR again and to see what you create. Thought about making the crane work?
@GowertonParkway6 жыл бұрын
Haha yea on my layout in the loft !
@GowertonParkway6 жыл бұрын
Definately won't have a working crane ! Not much point as the FNAs have to open right up to be able to access the flask, and to automate that would be nealry impossible.

Looking forward to seeing the new build. Hope my sleeper spacing method helps! Alot of people dont like re-spaced sleepers but once you see it all down it makes the standard out the box stuff look rather odd! You'll be thankful thats its not on the scale of mine or Everard - it drive me to near on breaking point Tim
@GowertonParkway6 жыл бұрын
Thanks Tim . No way would I have the patience to do it in the loft ! I'm definitely going to use your method as the start point for what I do :-)
