On October 5th, 1961, a curfew is mandated in Paris by its préfet, Maurice Papon. The curfew targets the "French Muslims from Algeria". Algerians protest against it, and a deadly repression follows. The very next day, a man, Jacques Panijel, decides to make a movie on the events to alert the public, but this movie has remained invisible for fifty years.
