Tears of the Kingdom was amazing, but Octopath 2 is still my game of the year so far. They took everything that worked in the first game, and refined everything that needed improvement. The stories, gameplay, and combat were all improved significantly, and it has what might be my new favorite OST of all time.

Fun fact: When you pick Agnea as your starting character, you will actually be playing as Paala throughout the section in Delsta.

That section makes her kinda the central protagonist of the game. Notice the ending bookends the start of her story.

Just wanna say, thank you for giving everyone a chance to say their opening lines when the final phase begins, as well as letting them say their special triple boost lines when they happen. Also that single bonk from Osvald in phase 2 was funny as hell

incredible how (ab)using a certain number of skills and jobs together leads to insane damage at such low levels. I have beaten this boss around lvl 70 without exploiting each of those skills together, and it took me ~1 hour before it was over. I had plenty of fun, none the less.

It's nice to see a great closure to a game that did amazing after the first game. Of course, it's great seeing how other people come up with several ways to beat the boss, especially when they did the boss without overly grinding. Hope you had a great time playing the game! (I still need to beat that secret boss)
