My Oculus Rift arrives on March 26th, 2020. I can't wait! That T-Rex must have been a really cool experience in VR. Not so sure about looking down from the high rise building though.

You had more luck than I did! My C: is full and trying to run the download to another drive is a nightmare. Oculus give you some lines of code to overwrite the Run command! Never seen that before in any download.

you need to press the Windows button + R and then there should be a window which says something like run put C:\Users\YOURNAME\Downloads\OculusSetup.exe /drive=D in if you want to install it on D instead of C

When I take out the HDMI from my graphics card it turns my monitor off, how do I fix that? If I plug in my OCULUS rift HDMI it shows display through it but tells my to return to the monitor, but its turned off?

You need to have both the Rift and Monitor plugged into your graphics card. If your graphics card only has one HDMI but also a Display Port, use the display port for your monitor and the HDMI for the Rift.

Maybe use a HDMI to display port adapter and plug your monitor into that then the adapter into a display port (if you have one) then plug the rift into the HDMI port

Pretty simple free fix. Just google the website of your graphics card's manufacturer ( probably amd or nvidia) and navigate to the "Driver Download" section. If you need additional help just google a tutorial after learning your card's manufacturer.

Heads up people if your thinking about buying a oculus DONT try to set it up on a pc that wasnt made for gaming. If its a pc with a simple dell pc or a computer screen with the pc inside BIG mistake. Buy a powerful gaming pc a, and a good screen you will also need a few more things but depending on your screen and pc it will have everything.

Can someone please help me, it says "Update Your Graphics Card Driver", I have been following its steps and I cant download both of the suggested apps. TechHarvest no. I’ve tried it a lot and I’ve tried whitelisting ports and etc. I think it’s because of the graphics card isn’t compatible with oculus. So I think we’re going to need to get a new computer, unfortunately. Thanks for the help.

It would only affect online games or downloading games. Make sure your rig has the minimum system requirements to run an Oculus before buying one though.

GTX 960 is the lowest minimum supported by Oculus. if someone is running on a 950 there's a good chance of getting motion sickness even on low settings.

Oculus has a test that you can run on your PC to see if it's VR ready. Download it and try it out.

I would check my connections. If you're still having the same problems, you might want to reinstall the Oculus software.
