I Can't wait to see more from this "game" I quote game because Kojima says that it's more of an Immerssive movie than a game (I'm not surprised considering his games are really heavy with cutscenes) but Kojima is one of the best directors and one of my favourite so i'm really looking forward to seeing what this game is like and I'm glad to see that he's still directing games. I wish he would make a new series similar to what he did with metal gear solid.

This could be very interesting I’m excited to see what it ends up being.

Its weird to me that no one is drawing the parallels. They are the ones going to be eaten is my take away. I think the realization from the latter 2 and leading into the door opening and the entity peaking in the room and the shock on the " kind singing fox" realizing what's happening is interesting. Here's my theory. It's some kind of trial based around varying levels of fear. They're obviously being asked to read the same phrase but in each scene the mood and delivery is much different. I think during whatever this "trial" is the participants are going to be exposed to varying levels of fear (i.e. something horrifying like glimpsed at the very end) and then asked to read or interpret something as kind of a baseline. You can tell in the second and third scenes that the participants are much more stressed/fearful while the delivery in the first scene seems relaxed and "normal"

Kojima cares about philosophical themes such as "connections" and "syntony". Maybe this game is about a new way of living reality through a new form of living being that somehow manages to be in synchrony with its species, in this case the player connected to other players via cloud gaming. Who knows. Philosophizing about the art of Kojima is interesting. Kojima's mind is incredible.

the characters are performing a vision exam by reading a phonetic pangram. -the title is likely oculus dexter -said title is in and out of focus -notice that the text looks like a sneller chart -there's a clicking kind of sound after every cut that i think is supposed to be the mechanical wheel in ophthalmoscopes. I think the ophthalmoscope/eye test is probably a metaphor about seeing things in and out of focus mirroring the concept of things moving in and out of existence, possibly under the influence of induced test drugs. Also it's pretty childish to consider anything uncanny or weird made by AI :p

Im medical so i just see OD as "Oculus Dexter" which is your right eye. Oculus Sinister OS is left eye, and Oculus Uterque OU is your binocular vision. This is nuts, I feel like he's actually got the actors to experience the scenes, you can see the lady at the end in her eyes, the reflection of the door that she watched open, and there is something standing there when she looks higher and screams. It looks like it is face tracking, but where the actual actors are shown the scene from their perspective in the game world? Normally this is done like "look at this ball, and imagine it is a big monster". But this looks so authentic.

Pretty sure this is inspired by the PT demo he did with Guillermo del Toro. Kojima even walked out of the same door from the demo at the game awards.
