V zadnjem času se veliko govori o priložnostih za krepitev lokalne preskrbe. Kako to napraviti v kmetijskih panogah, kjer ni tradicionalne tržne pridelave je bil za nas v Bohinju izziv. Izdelali smo načrt in ga pričeli udejanjati. Priključilo se mu je sedem pridelovalcev, ki so na novo začeli pridelovati zelenjavo in poljščine za gostinske ponudnike. Prve pridelke so na mize gostov Bohinja v izbranih menujih postopoma vključevali v večini restavracij v Bohinju, zaživela je tržnica na Ribčevem Lazu.

There has been a lot of talk recently about opportunities to strengthen local supply. How to do this in agricultural sectors where there is no traditional market production has been a challenge for us in Bohinj. We drew up a plan and started to put it into practice. Seven growers joined the plan and started growing vegetables and crops for caterers from scratch. The first produce was gradually put on the tables of Bohinj's guests in selected menus in most of Bohinj's restaurants, and the market at Ribčeve Laz was launched.
