There are better options out there if you have to do virtual therapy. I highly recommend doing therapy in person, but virtual is better than nothing, just don’t use BetterHelp.

Nah for real though, don’t use BetterHelp. They share and sell you info even without you agreeing. They already got in trouble years ago because they shared all the clients info to Facebook WITHOUT any permission. Now they just put it in their fine print, and you have no option to opt out of them having the ability to share your info. You can’t setup an appointment without agreeing with it. Please research people! I’m all for mental health awareness, but there are way safer options out there if you don’t want someone getting all of your private details and problems!

Be careful with better help they have been known to sell users information in the past after promising that the information would be secure and their "therapists" lack real training. I still believe that betterhelp can be a useful tool and I believe that having someone to talk with is valuable for mental health. Just do your research first and remember that nothing compares to professional help from therapists and medical professionals.
