I have a collection of porcelain dolls. Most of them were given to me by my grandmother, as she collected them as well and saw me taking an interest in it. Some of them I bought myself. Some my family gifted to me on my birthday. I used to go to flea markets (don't know if that's the right term) and see some, and be like "Oh my god, I absolutely need to get this one!"... And now I have 2 big drawers filled with dolls, and I can't even put them on display since my room is too small for that luxury. I also have a stamp collection, which I don't remember where I left it, and a "fèves" collection (don't know how to translate that apart from "bean", except it's made of ceramic) which I have no idea how to put on display. But now that I see that people do life-long collections, it makes me want to keep all that and collect all throughout life and put them on display as soon as I have the space 😅

My 6th grade teacher had a huge collection of Pez dispensers (at least 300) that she hung on her wall and on top on her cabinets. She said at the beginning of the year that if anyone could bring in a pez dispenser that she didn’t have, she would put it on display and give the student a few points of extra credit on a test. Best teacher ever.

I collect chewing gum metal/plastic boxes and shiny candy wrappers after eating the contents. I have up to 52 boxes and 200+ wrappers (I lost count of the wrappers) in my collection box now. And no, I do not have high pressure or diabetes. My blood sugar level is perfectly normal too.

I collect croissants wrappers, gum inserts and chewing gums I am sure some of you, young ones, don't know what a gum insert is. Well in the 80's and '90's there was a mass production of chewing gums(square and rectangular shapes ) Wrapped around the gum , there was a small , folded paper with some image on it. (funny caricature ,animation, cars, planes actors, football players and many more ) Different gums , with different tastes, with different images were our hobby. We were exchanging these gum inserts all day long.
