After spending the entire day at the Goodwill bins with very little success, I visited the Lakemore Goodwill at 1500 Canton Rd, Lakemore, OH, to see if my luck would change. I was thrilled to see some fresh carts and found some pretty odd and wild stuff! Plus I used a 35% off coupon and saved big!
Thrift Goodwill with me to see what we find. I will share all the information about what I find and what I pick, how much I spend, and how much I think I will make on any piece I sell on eBay, on www.niknax.net, in one of my booths, or in a live sale here on KZbin!

Hi sweet Amy👍❣ Great video! The little mail stamping and measuring station is adorable! Big round baskets will always be in style or useful☺ Ric-Rac and their org. labels are great for scrapbooking or junk journaling. I have photos of dresses and bloomers my baby girl wore. After having 2 boys, she wore her brother's old jeans. First though, I would sew lace or ric-rac on the flys and pockets so they would go with the tops I made her. Life was good

Well damn. Now I want a pink couch jewelry box with an iguana reclining on it. Well only if the iguana is stuffed and doesn’t move or need to be fed. Yes that was a great trip. The vintage puzzles were fun. I, too, like to shop for family and friends. I have a table I accumulate my junk finds till I see the person I bought stuff for. Also like to put together gift baskets with new thrifted treasures.

That is amazing, Carla! I was trying to do that too, last year, at night, instead of getting on my phone I was sketching something that would hold a memory about the day. It didn’t last long. Most night’s I was too tired to even think through the day, let alone put pencil to paper. I’m going to try a different approach with it and see what happens. 💕

My Goodwill prices Dollar Tree items at $3.99-$7.99! When I found a DT mushroom priced at $7.99, I brought it to the Goodwill manager’s attention, & she didn’t care. Anyway, great haul tonight! That postage stamp/scale was really cool. I’ve never seen anything like that before. 😊

Same here in CA. They do bundle a lot of it in a plastic bag. But people rip them open. I was told they don't have time to look at everything, so they'll miss that it's from dollar tree.

I love that little scale!! I collect a lot of victorian things. I have a small collection of trinket boxes. I own gobs of milk glass. If I find MG i've never seen before, and it's a good price, I'll get it. Angels and cherubs make me happy ... but not cheap looking. I buy plush & holiday type clothing for my grandbabies. I always look at silk scarves for my mom. I gift a lot of what I buy. After watching way too many episodes of Kat the nurse flipper ... I'm obsessed with purses ... Older ones. I'm not really into baskets. My favorite thrift store has a christmas in july sale for the entire month. I'm excited to go to that.

Amy I'm an iguana lover. I just laugh when people post them for pics. The star gazer lily is beautiful. Really like when you find a cart full. I just get excited. That cute Dr. & Nurse must have been a vet. Dr. since she had the puppy. How cute to give as a gift from your dog to its vet. Would have been cute in my bathroom full of dog figurines. I try to always have a coupon. If I spend about $100 I get a coupon (there are extra points for not using plastic bags, and there is a double-points day at the end of every month)! It’s such an awesome program! Oh! The butter bell is great!!! You put butter or a soft cheese into the hallow of the lid. You fill it up so it sticks up in there. Than you put a bit of cold water in the bottom, and the lid cup, when closed, is sealed off by the water so the butter/cheese stays protected and fresh on your countertop - and soft for spreading. They are a wonderful French invention! 🤗 Big hugs back from us!

Where I live in Summit County, Ohio, there is a loyalty program. Every time I shop I scan a card and get points for every dollar I spend. We also get extra points if we don’t use plastic bags and there is one day a month where you earn double points when you sho. Every 100 points gets you a 35% coupon. 😊 It’s an amazing program.
