PIZZA PANZER STOCK GRIND - Italian Pz.III N in War Thunder - OddBawZ

The Pz.III N is not an easy tank to play stock. This Italian tank is borrowed from the German tech tree Premium to give the Italians a bit more firepower at 3.0!
The Panzer 3 N for Italy is a 3.0 Medium Tank in War Thunder. It starts out with a APCBC round with only 52mm of penetration at point blank that quickly loses its penetration values even over short distances. You can unlock a HEAT round with 80mm of penetration and 100mm of penetration but those are Rank 2 and Rank 3 modifications.
The Pz.3 N in War Thunder is an amazing tank but it does take quite a bit of grinding to get the required parts to really make it shine.
In this video, I decided to play it from completely stock and all the way through until I had all of the unlocks for it then upload the entirety of the games for everyone to see.
A lot of viewers assume I get given everything from Gaijin, but this just simply isn't true. Although I have on occasion been given spaded vehicles to showcase, it's a very small number of vehicles in comparison to the entire tech trees that I've grinded over almost 7000 hours!

I actually really love this tank, it's in my 3.3 lineup now since there's not much at 3.0 to back it up. Since it's a premium in the German tree, I'm glad to finally be able to try it. That short 75mm is actually very effective even in up-tiers, especially if you can arc the shot over cover.

I noticed that track repair times have gone up dramatically a few days ago. I've had games where I've been artied so much that I literally spent over 4 minutes repairing my tracks. Such fun. I've stopped playing turretless TD's for the time being for that reason.

You basically played the Pasta F1 with the J up-armour. Love it, wish you'd do the F1 one day. That said, I wish Germany had this, that extra armour would help but the BR increase sucks a little for a stock tank. I love playing F1 at 2.7 and 3ish BR, people underestimate the hell out of a spaded F1 with a capable player. 3.4s reload 100mm pen any yeet distance knocking on your roof due to the slow muzzle velocity = really painful once it tracks you.

I had forgotten how fun low tier was. Yeasterday I had a few ge lying around and got a 75% discount on the Hungarian he 112. I took it out for anti cas at 3.0 and got 13 kills in the panzer 3m😂

When 1 tank grinding: Use Backups... then you get to use the tank twice, improve chance of earnings, yet still only cost 1 repair bill. And you help your team by not just bailing after you lose that tank.

Day 53: Forget the italian 8.0 lineup, do the 3.3 one instead! The P40, M42, both M43s (one goes boom and one goes boing) and whichever plane you prefer. This vid is so near but doesn't quite do it. So glad to see some italian rank II tho!

Panzer III M used to 'bounce' nearly every shot after volumetric; however, it got nerfed. Given the pIII M has 80mm of spaced armor, yet I pen them(front armor) with the Russian 78mm round, doesn't make sense!
