I guess they can't completely fix them without massively improving the servers. Afaik a higher tickrate would be needed since you are probably already dead "serverside" but your client hasn't received that Info yet. Dead Tanks can't shoot therefore the shells disappears from your point of view. At least that is my guess, not 100% sure but competitive games like CS use pretty high tickrates.

@OddBawZ It seems that at 2:25 you said the Sholef V1 has a Laser Rangefinder on its Barrel/breech, but that’s not a Laser Rangefinder. I’ve been reading up on it and according to a few sources and some friends who are more knowledgeable on the subject of SPHs, it’s a device used to measure the muzzle velocity of the shell so adjustments to aiming can be made with the FCS. The actual LRF of the Merks and the Sholef V2 seems to be integrated into the sights of the tank, as a part of the BAZ FCS, which the Sholef V1 does not have. The Sholef V2 has a LRF for sure tho). Regardless, It’s so sad man, they butchered the damn thing so hard… no stabilizer, no stupid fast vertical/horizontal turret traverse, no 6.67s reload, and no 1200hp engine with a 45 tons for an amazing HP/T ratio (~900hp and 60 tons ingame). I hope they fix the damn thing so the people who payed for this battle pass ain’t ripped off…

IRL: It weighs 45 tons, has a 6.67 seconds reload, 62.7 degrees per second of turret rotation speed, a 2-plane stabilizer, an laser rangefinder and TVD, top speed of around 60 kph, 1200 hp engine, three times the armor - it could resist most 105 mm APDS and HEAT-FS, better shells (including, it seems to be, APFSDS on the later models), better vertical targeting speed, much better FCS - that allows 'locking' on planes and tanks - and higher hp/ton ratio than M1 Abrams'. Oh, and the charges in the front of the turret? are inside the fireproof-blast panneled containers IN THE BACK BOTTOM OF THE HULL. Thank you Gaijin, for giving one of the only domestic Israeli vehicles in the game (something like 300 more could be added, but nooooo, we better get more Magach 6's) only to P2W, and even then nerfing it to the ground before it actually came out.

The V1 (BP vehicle) and V2, are identical in terms of combat and weapons systems. The V2 only had QoL upgrades for the crew. They need to fix the vehicle they promised and if they want to add a tech tree version AFTER that, so be it.

yeah i have to imagine it's at least as fast as the PzH2000's autoloader, which is a 6 second reload. And we know you can theoretically get a gun of this size down to a 2 second reload, though that requires a bunch of stuff you probably can't fit in a tank, (water cooled barrel for one).

That's the trick - people who play long enough defeat the urge of getting into the first line, yet don't overcompensate becoming completely isolated. Still, they don't let the proximity of allies completely fool them. As a result, they are pretty much always in the sweet spot of not being the only cookie to shoot at, not being the chewiest cookie to shoot at and not being the closest cookie to shoot at. At this point, concealment start to really work and the work you shall see. Even if some don't realize what they do, they almost always are either in the shade or in the cover, actively abusing 3rd person camera to peek over corners. Another thing is using headphones. You might notice that a lot of streamers complain about sound when you don't hear anything. That's because they typically use headphones, which, while more tiring, are good performance boosters, allowing you to accurately track sound direction, resulting in ultimate awareness, especially in urban warfare.

I see a bunch of comments about the LRF. I couldn't find any open source info that described it as having a LRF, I would guess that that piece over the barrel is a MVI (Muzzle Velocity Indicator) Radar to compute for MV variation.

Hopefully they'll add lo-fi stand-in components for most vehicles before this transitionary period becomes problematic. They should've refined the volumetric system before adding even more complications; at least the shrapnel physics system can be implemented system wide without it becoming a balance issue.

Ive been meaning to bring this up earlier but I think the little hello/talking head in the beginning of your vids is a good thing. One its personal we get to see how your ugly mug is a person makes it less sterile. Two its really better for you over time cause if you can get it done in one take then you can do cooler stuff later. Like live events or whatever (if you want). Id think one big hurtle might be hot mics but its something to work with. IDK why you stopped either cause of analitcs or maybe cost? IDK or maybe you didn't like it? Either way for sure you would need better lighting (its cheap) vid? can wait and your audio is a dream (thanks). Obv its up to you but I think it could be good. Cheers

If you want a dumb challenge, you should try to intentionally destroy tanks by ricocheting rounds off the ground and up through their hull floor. I tested this with some low tier American and German tanks using APCR and some APHE, and can confirm that it somewhat reliably works, but you usually have to get within about 100m to get the angle. Maybe try it in low tier since engagement ranges are shorter?
