Why should you have 1250HP in your BMW E30 S54 TURBO? This is why. Crazy engine swap, this mad engine does 1/2 mile powerslides!

Now that is craaaazy but does he have a set up to actually get that power on the road? literally powerslides and burnouts every time he put his foot down LOL. He must have a tyre shop with the amount of wheels he must go thru. I didn't see a single time where he managed to floor it without wheel spin

To get the power to the road there is only one soloution: turn the boost down to 600-700hp. This is a street car with no rollcage witch make the chassi twist if he fits it with racing slicks. He started a tire shop for just the reason you described. No joke. Down the straight he hits the rev limiter at 283km/h in wheelspinn speed (!) The tires EAT away at that speed.

Having been to Gatebil ( once !! ) I have to say seeing a E30 BMW with a s54 turbo in it brings back amazing memories, no one does it like the Scandinavian's, running s54's with a 1000 brake + with standard flywheels, love the bonkers cars that you guys produce, make the ones in England look shit and dull ( yes we do have nice cars I know but the Norwegians etc just have a different level of craziness, you see one of their cars you just know lol )

Great vid!!! I like the car, it's making some serious power... Was funny seeing the smashed piston from dropping a valve. Did it also spin a bearing at the same time??? That big end bearing cap had signs of serious heat, to the point where it changed colour like what happens when an engine does spin a bearing. It was rattling off it's had after that burnout! LOL!!!

Fully built engine with forged pistons, rods, ARP bolts, racing valves, tighter springs, cooperring headgasket, MaxxEcu ECU, custom manifolds, E85 fuel and 2.2 bar of boost with 8082 Borg Warner turbo. This year he fitted a Precision 6870 turbo and took the power down to only 949whp.

Off course there are plenty. But 1000hp in a smaller engine than 6 cylinder will be VERY undrivable. It's borderline already. S54 is one of the most compact 24v inline sixes anyway. You can do a Audi 5 cylinder 20v with 600hp/700hp, great weight balance, and insane sound!
