Gosh I remember the final Scrab level with all those portals and slogs, sligs, fleech and scrabs used to have me so tense. Scrabs terrified me as they could detect you even on a different screen and they’d come running in.

At 15:16-15:17 I always jumped after that Slig threw a grenade and it exploded, this makes the fall more epic with all those sparkles and rocks flying down.

Just passing by watching a walkthrough of a game i played about 15 years ago. Brings back a lot of memories of a care-free time. Internet was hard to come by those days and in my country was still largely unknown, so tips and walkthrougs came only in a form a pricey, monthly issued console game magazine, which was too expensive for kids who had no money except some occasional pocket-change. A lot of "trial and error" was involved. Anyway... i am blabbing... This is one of the most well structured, enjoyable and fun games i've ever played in PSX and had awesome and funny sound design! For me, Abe's Oddysee & Exoddus is up there with Metal Gear Solid, Tomb Raider and Crash Bandicoot. Come to think of it, it's good even by today's standards. Highly recommended for anyone who hasn't tried it.

I know this game by heart, and sometimes he isn't shot when he should have been. I mean right here, 50:00 , there is no way that he wasn't shot. I replayed that part to check and I get shot 100% of the time when I do the same exact move. What gives it away is the fact that there are no impacts. If a Slig shoots you there are no impacts, even when you're invincible. There are also alot of things like that during that playthrough where Flying Sligs' grenades don't blow him up, and Sligs who shoot at him (you can see the impacts and all) but he doesn't die.

Its easily the most head wrecking,frustrating bit in the entire game, did it a few times in one go, but mostly takes about 9-10 go`s

Hey Sam! Great work with the Oddworld-Series, got me into playing it again after what feels like over a decade. Unfortunately, I've been stuck for about an hour at one particular ''Survival-Parkour'' (In this video of yours, it starts at 1:22:40) and I just can't seem to figure my way out there. I'm playing the original Game-Disc on a PlayStation 2.. when I saw this ''Parkour'' in your video, I was wondering how you do these speedy rolls out of the run.. because without those speedy rolls, it seems impossible for me to continue playing :/ Help would be greatly appreciated, thanks! From @21:47 to @23:23, there`s a quicker way, first blow the bomb, pull the lever, get the mudokons to where you got the first one, pull the lever again, go to the edge of the screen and say All of yiz,follow me,step into the next screen and pull the lever when the lads are at the drop...Brilliant game.

I never played it much before, I got hooked into the Oddworld universe with Munch's Oddysee on the xbox and then later got the Oddboxx on steam. Played the hell out of New n Tasty when that came out and that got me hooked on these side scroller games. My plan is to beat this game before the HD remake is made, even with outdated graphics it's still awesome.
