Oh wow, such a sad story as it seems xD Ale nádherná píseň! Is it really a Czech song? To me (as a beginner in Czech and a person who listens to a lot of slavic folk music but can speak none of them yet sadly) it sounded more like Slovak or am I wrong? And there were some sounds in the language I only have heard in Polish (from the west-slavic languages I mean). I'm confused and probably completely wrong ;D Anyways, it's a beautiful song and a great video!

Right, moravia is the part of the czech republic closest to slovakia so we share a lot of dialect and some archaic wirds from german

@@jjanass Oh really, from German? I wouldn't have thought any Moravian dialect (by now I know there are quite a few and all of the ones I've heard so far seem to me very different from standard Czech) would have German loanwords, only standard Czech would :D May I ask what kind of words are they - same as in standard Czech or different ones? For me as a German myself it's really fascinating since in the past months I've discovered and become really fascinated by especially the Moravian culture. I love this kind of music and all the beautiful dances you guys have and also all these different costumes - where are these costumes in this video from, what region, if I may ask? They're beautiful
