I don’t know if anyone else is having this problem, but KZbin decided to mute your sound at 19:25. I’ve noticed with several creators that there have been some weird things happening: videos completely cut off at the end, pieces missing or sound being cut off… Great video and amazing ideas for the palettes. This is why Indie has my heart! I love Oden's Eyes matte formula and shimmer formulas so much. They have beautiful color stories too. And $40 (after code) for a 16 pan palette that includes multichromes/duochromes and super shimmery shimmers - let's me know that High-end can do it but they're choosing not to.

Ooh, I like the shelf life. Viseart has a long shelf life, too. I keep my palettes longer, obviously. I notice that certain brands have a shorter shelf life. I have been taking note and certain brands seem to perform better in the first year or two.

Good question about why main stream makeup companies price their makeup the way they do. My thoughts is that a lot has to do with the marketing, packaging and the way the company wants to present the perceived value of their products. While it is often true that the quality matches the price, it is not always the case and there are definitely low cost makeup that can rival high end ones. I was going to skip the Christmas Eve one because I have the Solmane II palette and it is also blue and purple but that Christmas Eve cornflower blue is calling me. Eek. This is the best holiday release!! I bought both of them! So glad I skipped on huda and pat. I am a neutral lover, but Oden’s Eye quality is superior IMO. The color stories almost never attract me but once I use them I am in love. I’m vibing with the packaging also, more than their other releases. For reference I have all the collab palettes.
