Ah this was from the era where I was allowed to go to the cinema by myself. No way as good as the Odeon idents that came before it (If you ever get a decent scan of the 80s/early 90s building ones I'll love you forever) but certainly brings back good nostalgic memories from that era.

may i be an informative geek? okay. this is a 1994-5 short run snipe which bridged the gap between 'first choice' and the new logo/rebrand in 1999, the new trailer being commisioned to ridley scott. there are some bits working out for here. at 0:15, you can see a film print running on a christie aw3 platter. look carefully at the top as the label of the print whizzes past. 0:25 we see the projector. Looks like a Dolby Digital Penthouse reader, and Victoria 8 projector.

Can we talk about the auditorium numbering scheme used on the blue prints shown at about 30 seconds in? Because that numbering makes absolutely no sense.

Nice Cat 700. Actually can't quite tell if it's a 699 or 700, but the slight angles revealed in the occasional reflection makes me think 700.
