The film takes place in the Crimea on the Black Sea coast. The old organ-grinder and young acrobat Seryozha, a twelve-year-old boy, together with their faithful friend, the intelligent poodle Arto, perform in front of the public - vacationers and summer residents. With its simple but sincere performances, the troupe earns money for a modest life.
