The end of the 80s of the 90s of the XX century. - The period of creative searches and experiments in cinema. In these turning points for many people, the film was released on the screens of the Kyiv film studio of feature films named after Alexander Dovzhenko “The Smiry Cemetery” - picking the film adaptation of the same novel by Sergei Kaledin, the ancestor of the so -called Genre "Chernukhi". At the time of the creation of the film, Kaledin, having worked for more than one year old as a tomb, triumphantly debuts with the "humble cemetery" in the New World magazine.
The director of the project was Alexander Itigilov.
According to the plot, the entrepreneurial director of one cemetery was able to sell an old grave under a new burial. Moreover, this place is located next to the grave of the Decembrist and appointed for a new memorial. To dig a new grave is entrusted to Alexei Vorobyov, nicknamed Sparrow. But suddenly they learn about such a business model "upstairs." The director, without hesitating, wraps all the blame on the digger.
