Odin's Huge Greenouse Tour - Giant Carnivorous Plants, Orchids, And More!

In todays video I visit the greenhouse and plant collection of my good friend Odin (@coolcarnivores) where we have a look at his fantastic Nepenthes collection and stop along the way for some heliamphora, ghost orchids, slipper orchids, and more! Fabuloso Video , only just seen this site, I was fortunate enough to work in eastern Sulawesi and saw lots of rambling nepenthes and ant plants , they grew in huge clusters like sweet potatoes in the bough of trees in the rain forests there, usually not too high up, presumably to aid the ants ? Look forward to more videos .

That sib x merrilliana looks amazing! It’s a really fast grower if you know what you’re doing. For example, it doesn’t like lfsm and prefers a more mineral based soil mix such as akadama and kanuma

Beautiful place and a lot of work. So nice to see someone still appreciating pure species instead of the cash-grab hybrid nonsense that’s going on. Nepenthes are beautiful enough, no need to play god. Plus have we thought about polluting the gene pool if they escape in the wild?
