I put a Bug-Buster scope on my Benjamin Marauder .22-Caliber PCP (air pistol). I installed the provided stock. But, the eye relief was NG. The scope had to be installed too far forward (due to the high magazine design). So, I sawed off the butt-plate, shortened the stock limbs and reinstalled the butt-plate on the short stock! Works perfectly, but it looks just like a bolt-Action SBR!! I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the ATF isn't using spy satellite pictures from the NRO. I'm sure this PCP SBR will look illegal from orbit!

In the PRS market with brands like Atlas that is actually a competitive price for the features... Especially with that arca bag, Other companies sell similar bags/qd mounts for hundreds of dollars... In the PRS world $500= $50 average person dollars 😂🤦‍♂️ I'm surprised they don't have more nighttime PRS competitions, then those guys could extra absurdly turn money into noise 😆👍

I'm fairly certain that would ban every scary rifle import too. You can't import rifles without a "Sporting Purpose" so they all get imported as pistols and converted as far as I know. The other way is to basically be featureless CA compliant on import with thumbhole stocks and bare muzzles and they put pistol grips and stuff on when they get here, but pistols are easier because they can just come in without stocks and pop them on at the distributor.

Well, they may be AFT "Compliant" today and may even come with an AFT Letter....BUT just give the AFT a couple of weeks/months/years and they will do a Complete 180 (just like with the Bump Stock/FRT/Forearm Brace/etc) and suddenly Declare them to be ILLEGAL.

Nope, I think a lot of us got the same idea, at the same time we read about the "Surface area" re: Buffer tubes. In my feeble old mind, I pictured the device being used in close combat with a Butt stroke, ripping the sharp point across the enemy's face, stunning him. At the end of the stroke with muzzle over left shoulder, follow up with a hard down stroke, to administer the coup de grâce with a spear-stab into the throat. Yikes, those damned Marines brainwashed me! They should have never been allowed to train sailors! I'm going to have nightmares about this damned AYHN buffer tube!

I already have a "short stroke" buffer. It was designed in the 1970s by the CIA for special operations. A good reference would be Mr. Clark in "Clear and Present Danger". Hard to find, but available, and shoves the new "brace" rule right up the ATFs ass!

Lets do some creative thinking.... That buffer makes the AR pistol compliant in the eyes of the FAT. Soooo.... Sell separately a shooting vest that would receive that spike for either left or right hand shooters. The spike would insert into a cup that is sewn into the vest. Can they outlaw clothing? Nothing has been said about shouldering a slick buffer tube. Shooting vests with pads have been around for decades if not centuries.

The ATF has vastly overestimates how many people actually give a s*** about their opinion at this point regarding braces. Imagine if every week Highway Patrol change the speed limit and occasionally put up signs with algebraic equations where you had to figure it out yourself. No one would care anymore. A buffer tube is required in the operation of the pistol. The ATF ruling only applies to stabilizer braces.

Exactly, I don't know where people got this idea that a buffer tube has been banned. All the language talks about >accessories< that extend or increase rearward surface area beyond what's mechanically necessary for the gun to function. If you grind the adjustment points on a carbine tube or run a bare pistol tube, no argument could be made that you intend to install a stock or brace
