Great Video idea, Odin! 👍 I've found some great deals on eBay too. If buying seed beads in bulk/wholesale, Bobby Beads has fabulous deals! And of course I luv Artbeads, Great group of ppl. Thx for sharing 😉

Oh cool have to check out some of those shops. I have used fusion and firemountain a lot but not the others. Being from Australia the shipping cost can bite the big one lol

Ooof yeah, A lot of bead shapes that come out start off in Europe, so I either have to bite the bullet and try for international shipping, or wait months until the shapes come overseas. That being said, I know Scarabeads does international shipping, and they are pretty reasonable.

I noticed that 39ss chatons are a better deal from Potomac. I bought some from FM and I got almost twice the amount from Potomac than from FM and for less money.

I think they have their own brand of crystal too. I haven't tried them yet though.

I am a beginner and am finding some beads lose their color, how can i stop this? I did one earring and had NO issues whatsoever the second earring i have actually started 3 times, the first time, the color came off and i only accepted this fact once i was done with the top portion. The 2nd attempt i noticed it almost right away but tried to avoid touching, which i really failed, the 3rd attempt, was better but still lost its color some and looked different enough from the first earring that it has disheartened me. I did make a point to use one bead from one container where i wasnt sure which container i got the first two out of, i am going to attempt the second earring from another container and se eif that solves the problem, But honestly i am so bummed i put my needle down and cleaned my house instead. Please help

Unfortunately that has to do with either the manufacturer or the finish of the bead. If they are cheaper beads, they tend to chip easily, or if they are dyed beads instead of made from colored glass. Silver lined and metallic is the worst of it. Miyuki and Toho offer "permanent galvanized" metallic colors to combat it.

Wish I had such an overview when I started collecting beads. 🤔
