This dance leads the performer as well as the beholder towards Moksha, spiritual and intellectual release from the cycle of rebirth and union with the supreme. The culmination of an Odissi performance, this mokshya concludes with a musical composition by Balamurali Krishna, Omkarakarini in his raga, Lavangi. One with the form of OM, clear away my egoism and protect me. Space is filled with the musical waves of Murali's Amrit. Beloved of Shiva, full of compassion and grace like the clove creeper, you bestow protection and are the embodiment of total bliss. Performed by all the Manasa-Art Without Frontiers dancers.
