Where exactly does your enlightenment begin in Islam, very disheartening to hear people who are knowledgeable yet they swim in ignorance,tell what is wrong in coming together as Muslims to follow the command of Allah subhanahu wa ta'Allah and still refer to that as bidha,may Allah subhanahu wa ta'Allah guide you better.

My brother , what the Sheikh is saying is Sunna of the Holy Prophet Muhammad ( S.A.W ) . So many evils are parpetrated in the course of going to asalatu , i remember when i was young and we were going to nasfat , our main goal was to catch new girl friend . Now-adays , many alfas do so many rituals to make people attend their asalatu . May ALLAH (S.W.T ) guide us to the right path , Ameen . I love you , salam alaekun .

Most of those gatherings are just waste of time. Try and listen to the full lecture first before you blurt out ur criticism. There's nothing wrong with such gatherings if it's to share knowledge, but most often these women go there to sing week in week out and continue wallowing in their ignorance of the teachings of the religion. So pathetic
