Very nice. It’s good to have different method of cooking in an emergency. I have the same stove. I want a butane stove now, the one that take the canister that you can buy at the Asian store. The stove I’m eying is the Soto ST-310 from Japan. Man they make quality stuff lol Also you can find those empty 1lb canister at campsites. People throw them away. Just go get it there.

SOTO does make great gear. I have their micro regulator folding stove. The other stove you mention can be found at Walmart for $20. Coleman makes one. I have 3 of them and they work fantastic.

A word of caution: this stove, msr stoves and all other isobutane stoves are built around isobutane fuel. If you use the propane adapter and use propane as fuel, it WILL eventually blow out the seals and cause fuel leaks. Propane has 4x the vapor pressure of isobutane. The stove seals are not designed for that amount of pressure. Just because you can, doesnt mean you should. If you want your backpacking stoves to last, DO NOT use propane
