Ive always loved oddessy fun world ever since the Tinley Park location and when i got older i moved to Aurora in 2012 and got a chance to experience the napperville location and ironically i got a job as a senior field service tech in late 2019 and had the job of dismantling and doing cable management on all the games. The fx virtual machine gave us huge headaches, not to mention outside in the back of that place was said to be haunted.

I was never able to go to the Naperville location, but I remember the Tinley Park location being one of my favorite places to go!! I'm so sad I'll never get to see The New Rock A Fire band in front of me again. I've never even seen a live show. I remember the last time I went, I got some good pictures of them!

Thanks for making this video! Have a lot of fond memories from this place as a kid, I’m sorry that I never got a chance to go back once I was older. That jungle-gym play area (don’t know the right word for it) was absolutely massive, probably more fun than the arcade itself to young me. I definitely had a few nightmares about the animatronic musicians, as well as Bonehead from the shooting gallery. I was a fragile kid. I actually went looking for OFW videos because I remembered being afraid of the shooting gallery and thought it’d be funny to see how tame it really was. But man, this brought back a flood of nostalgia.

Man it's just like this place we had in New Jersey called fun time America, it was like the best place to go on a Friday night, pizza, arcade games, rides, gambling (they got rid of those first) and a motion simulator, it was never the same when they changed locations than closed later on. Rest in peace

@Cyberstar Virginia I loved the old location, and yeah the Eatontown one closed around that time, funny, right after my birthday, pretty much a downgrade from the other location

With 3 kids we had like 6 birthday parties between both locations, first at Tinley Park then there. We had like 35-40 kids + parents at a couple of them. IDK which had it but there was a reactive shooting gallery game that was awesome it was above the ticket games you shot from the "adult" video game area balcony. That was a great idea they kept the Mortal Kombat type shooter types and classic games like Donkey Kong, centipede up there too.

All their redemption games including their unique shooting gallery setups where phenomenal! They even brought in a few or their rides indoors. The upstairs were intended for older audiences including some classics as well and we had a good lineup of pinballs long ago. Yes, there were some shooters including life-like scenes with video game content rating stickers posted on them and the same with any fighter game we had there. We even had the world's biggest video arcade game the Galaxian 6 player theater which brought video games at an extraordinary level of video-game environments! It was one of the best family entertainment centers I've seen and Tinley Park stood out loud and proud!

I have never been to the Naperville location before I've only been to the Tinely Park location. When I was younger I went to the Tinely Park location for parties, Go-Carts, and some other things. I found out about Naperville's location was from Google Maps online.
