My god, odyssey looks amazing, as well as the museum additions. I cannot wait to see what the final product will look like!

Define "final product." I'm still not sure how "final" LotD is at this point. ='[.]'=

Yeah I've played and beaten Skyrim, now it's all about experiencing as much of Legacy of the Dragonborn and its supported mods.

I love this feature! It reminds me of The Sims 3 in where you could craft statues as well as ususable furniture. It was a skill though, that improved over time.

I have a question about Odyssey of the Dragonborn, will I be able to play it on an old save where I beat Legacy
@icecreamassassin30063 жыл бұрын
that was the hope but since it's always a better bet NOT to add mods mid game, and Odyssey is an ESM, it's probably best if you start fresh. It's a ways off anyways so hopefully when it comes out you'll be ready for a different playthrough anyways

I like the item creation process and the new sculptures.... Not sure how I feel about self decorating though. I can see myself screwing that up.

I'll likely have optional dedicated places you can display them at but I wanted the flexibility of allowing custom placement.

@@icecreamassassin3006 How about a statue garden? Or maybe a dedicated gallery to house statues you can craft or find? Also any plans to include some wood carvings? Stuff like whittling small ornaments and figurines to big wooden statues? Oh or maybe wax statues? Or folk art?

@@tonts5329 There's going to be a wide range or art projects you can create and they are made using the "inspiration point system" where you gain points to spend on projects based on Odyssey exploration

What going to be a patch? You mean will legacy have a patch for it? If someone wants to make one sure.

Will we have an automatic system to place the art too? I have no sense of symmetry so if I placed it on my own it would look awful
@icecreamassassin30063 жыл бұрын
There will probably be some set places for the art as well

This is a pretty cool statue carving system. Is there going to be a skill tree, similar to the one for the Explorer's guild and the Excavation skill trees? Maybe you could include a Taxidermy system to make animal/monster displays. Similar to the one in player homes and the Gallery of Natural Sciences.

if you make something like Creating Custom Paintings but for SE and more streamlined and immersive... my Skyrim life might finally be complete

Friggin epic! I hope this replaces the auto-creation of falmer and giant decorations we get upon discovering their locations. I would LOVE to have to create the art I discovered when stumbling upon their locations.

@@maallos334mi8 No, like I said, it nails down the statue after a few seconds (as shown in the video where I whack it repeatedly and move against it etc) It's my own havoc control script I use all over the museum, not that flimsy piece of garbage vanilla one. Not even a fus ro dah or catapult explosion will budge it.

Also have ya heard of the race mod the timelost dwemer? If so how would ya think a dwemer would do this museum?
@pedropoppi3 жыл бұрын
Man, I absolutely love this mod too. Coincidentally my present roleplay is being a dwemer using this mod. Adding to Ordinator, Dwemer Network, Goggles and Scouter and Exoskeleton (not to mention the Dwemer themed mods supported by the museum) is being the most fun gameplay in a long time with a badass archaeologist Dwemer.
