What I find fun is seeing good movement, perfect reads, anticipation, and technique. That's what makes it rewarding to main a character like Monkey King, as opposed to characters like Gideon, Itu, Widow, or Ironclad that can easily take away 50% of your health just by spamming shadow moves or repetitive tricks

For monkey king, there is a sweet spot. Stand almost 2-3 moves in front of him. If he will do the front attack, he will fall behind you without hitting and if he does back flip, it will not hit and he will land in front of you. I. Case 1, do an attack. In case 2, grab/dash forward and grab. Do nothing if for any reason your attack will be blocked. Monkey jingu spammers lose their cool when we counter their supposedly guaranteed shot. PS: This will not work if monkey is in the corner because his back flip will hit. So force him to come out. When I play with ling and others start to camp, I simply start drinking the shadow brew. He is forced to come out.
