Immigrant Lives - Learning English to Succeed in America

The Pew Research Center estimates that the segment of the U.S. population comprised of first and second-generation immigrants will grow to 37% by 2050. Laredo, Texas, is one of the many border towns that has experienced a mass migration of Latinos from Mexico and Central America. The Holding Institute is working to help these immigrants learn English so that they can build successful lives in the U.S.
