@@irritantegast2131 PoR and RD are much, MUCH more coherent, story-wise, than 3H the gameplay is not as full of mechanics as 3H, which imo is a bonus because you have less things you have to manage but it's still very solid and fun (RD especially) the map design is really great, i assure you you're gonna remember many of both games' maps even if they're not constantly recycled like 3H does the music is awesome, the cast is one if the best in the entire series, every character is memorable you won't regret playing them

Mick's Up thank you for the info! I liked three houses a lot because of its cast, amazing soundtrack, and i actaully liked the gameplay. I liked the calendar and the story. The art, but i wished there was a difficulty between maddening and hard. I disliked the maintenence in three houses tho. Constantly buying weapons is a pain. Three houses is a very good entry imo. The developers opened a lot of new options for their next fire emblem game. I hope we get more places to explore, like camps for war, instead of one big place. The pacing also should be different, instead lf having a mission each month, make it less predictable. Anyways, I believe you when you talk about the cast being great in these games. Whenever i look at awakening, echoes, fates gameplay, the cast doesn’t really appeal to me. But when i see PoR or RD gameplay i really have the feeling the cast is great. I might simulate it, but im waiting for a direct where we get more info on upcoming fire embelm games. Por and RD defenitly have a change to get remade.

To be exact he first appeared in Brawl before smash 4 but yep, that's why he's buff in smash and with a Golden sword....heck in a fan fic sor of thing one can say when ike left for distant lands he finds a portal and goes to other worlds, like other fire emblem worlds, (dlc packs and amibo features in Awakening, Fates, And echoes.) And also smash brawl, 4 and ultimate....it's a cool thought, one that can't be truly cannon but it's a cool thought. 🙂

Ike is in contention with being my favorite character in a video game, period. His competition comes from Zack Fair from Final Fantasy VII, Nero from DMC 4&5, and Link from the Legend of Zelda series. Ike's story can never be replicated, reproduced, or replaced. He is a hero of such great renown and honor that he was easily considered for his bravery as being the best general of his time and one of the strongest protagonists in the entire lineup of Fire Emblem Lords. As the game says by the end, "Ask any you meet, young or old, beorc or laguz, of a hero named Ike and you'll receive a warm smile and a tale or two of faith, courage, and honesty." I can't think of a better way to say kudos to Ike (except with a third game to end off his series, but that's another story for another time). Thank you, Ike, for the ideals you've striven for have inspired many people to follow the same.

Man, I have never played radiant dawn but I’m playing path of radiance right now and I’m already hooked. I love all the characters, the story and the mechanics and I can’t wait to play radiant dawn. I’ll still probably prefer binding blade as it is my favorite fire emblem game and nothing will ever change that, but path of radiance and radiant dawn will probably be close seconds.

Sigh... I don't know about the rest of this game or the series itself, but I kind of like the end game here and wish I was able to make it all the way through... I kind of liked the difference between the two gods, Ashera or Order and Yune of Chaos, it reminds me a of of Myria and Deis from Breath of Fire. :p As for stuff about all the characters and what their up to after everything is over, that's literally the exact same stuff that happens in Suikoden. :p I wonder if there's any overlap with fans of both series or not. :?

I have not played Radiant Dawn but love Path of Radiance. Ike is easily my favorite protagonist with Hector a respectable second. I find Ike’s ending unsatisfying and uncharacteristically selfish, especially given his convos with Mist where he promised to never leave for the sake of their father. I can’t see him breaking that promise. In my headcanon Ike goes off on his journey but returns a year later and ends up with Elincia and the Greil Mercenaries train Crimea’s army.

I wish Ike had an alternate ending via supports. Here’s one I’ve imagined. If he reaches an S-support with Elincia or Mia, he doesn’t leave the content. Instead, he eventually marries Elincia or Mia, depending on which of the two he reaches an S-Support with. He and his wife eventually have a Son and Daughter, who they pass their legacy onto.
